In January 2021, I started looking for a good-quality rectangular loose bottom tart tin that I could use to make an apple tart. I have made several shaped tarts in the past, but never a rectangular tart (shock! lol). So I took it upon myself to scour Amazon for the perfect rectangular tart tin. I knew I definitely wanted it to be a rectangular loose bottom tart tin, it had to be non-stick, and durable.
I reviewed quite a number of tart tins before I settled on this one. After using it, here’s what i think of the tart tin:

Durability
This tart tin is made of carbon alloy steel and is very durable. I was able to push out the baked tart without any concerns that the base would bend or that my tart would end up on the floor. So far I have no issues regarding the quality of the metal used for this tart tin.
Even baking
I was pleasantly surprised at how beautiful the tart shell turned out after baking. It was an even golden brown all the way around. The even browning of the tart shell was definitely due to the good quality material used to manufacture the tart tin.
Ease to Use and Clean
There are a few tart tins out there, where the tart dough doesn’t adhere properly to the sides of the tart tin – this is not one of those tart tins. The tart dough adhered with no issues while I was placing it in and during the blind bake. With regards to cleaning, this tart tin is very easy to clean because of its non-stick feature. The manufacturer recommends that this tart tin should be hand-washed vs. washed in the dishwasher.
