Ingredients

  • ½ sheet puff pastry
  • ¼ onion medium sized
  • 6 tbsp shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 50 g genoa salami I used the Mastro brand
  • egg wash (1 egg + 1 Tbsp milk + pinch of salt)

Instructions

  • Dice the Onions and Genoa salami
  • Mix together the onions, salami and, shredded cheese. Set aside
  • Roll out the puff pastry dough
  • Cut out 1.5" inch rounds with a cookie cutter, and indent the middle of the rounds with a spoon
  • Lightly brush the puff pastry rounds with egg wash (i.e. 1 egg + 1tbsp milk + pinch of salt)
  • Fill the puff pastry rounds with the Genoa salami filling
  • Place the rounds in a preheated 350F oven for 10-15 mins
  • Bring it out of the oven,, and let it cool before serving
