Dice the Onions and Genoa salami
Mix together the onions, salami and, shredded cheese. Set aside
Roll out the puff pastry dough
Cut out 1.5" inch rounds with a cookie cutter, and indent the middle of the rounds with a spoon
Lightly brush the puff pastry rounds with egg wash (i.e. 1 egg + 1tbsp milk + pinch of salt)
Fill the puff pastry rounds with the Genoa salami filling
Place the rounds in a preheated 350F oven for 10-15 mins
Bring it out of the oven,, and let it cool before serving
